Always Real – Promo Mix
This started out as an entry to a competition for Defected Records. However it was less a skill quality competition and more a marketing clicks competition. That’s not to say the winners’ mixes weren’t good, because they really were, but they were all people who garnered more clicks and likes. I heard about the competition, went home and just started playing with no pre-determined set, so I think it is a solid representation of my style. Therefore I dub it “Always Real”.

The China Tapes
I went to China and between the 2 12hour flights and the copious amount of downtime I had during a press check I programmed and recorded 4 mixes using traktor and my laptop. Next time I’m bringing a controller; using a touchpad to control traktor is a bit of a pain in the ass.
