More let’s play records! This time I pulled selections from my small 45 collection.

At random I will record hour long vinyl mixtapes. These are the results.
Let’s Play Records! Volume 5 – Soundtracks
I have a chunk of soundtracks. For some stupid reason I have 3 Flashdances, American Gigalos and Star Wars. Not sure Why.
For this volume of Let’s Play Records! Let’s Play Records! Volume 3
The first 2 volumes of LPR! were somewhat premeditated. I grabbed all the records first and kind of got them in order. This time I just grabbed the first record (Whipped Cream and other Delights by Herb Alpert), picked the song (initially “A Taste of Honey” but it skipped so I flipped the disk over and chose “Love Potion No. 9”), then kept going. So enjoy the swing, rockabilly, country, mixed with a tiny dash of new wave or punk.

Eerie Eighties Mixtape
I’ve been wanting to do this for some time now. A true eighties mixtape using vinyl and (hopefully) transferring it to tape. I’m not too sure about the tape part, but I have a side one and side two, chock full of the songs that always struck me as a bit creepy or eerie when I was growing up and a few recent discoveries.
