4 hour mix with crossovers peaking too much
I have a 4 hour mix that is pretty uneven and the culprit is my heavy handed mixing. The mix was made on CDJ-2000s and a DJM900. The files are 320kpb MP3s and the recording is too.

A mix for Fraktured. I tried to combine old school breaks with some newer stuff, and had fun veering from my usual House vibes.
This started out as an entry to a competition for Defected Records. However it was less a skill quality competition and more a marketing clicks competition. That’s not to say the winners’ mixes weren’t good, because they really were, but they were all people who garnered more clicks and likes. I heard about the competition, went home and just started playing with no pre-determined set, so I think it is a solid representation of my style. Therefore I dub it “Always Real”.
I’m super excited for next month. I’ll be djing at Kremwerk with Riz and Spaceotter! The facebook event will be up soon (Kremwerk is taking care of that) and I’ll be promoting the crap out of it.
The night is a fundraiser to help pay for Seattle Quake to get to Bingham Cup, basically the world cup of gay rugby. We will also have a silent auction in the breezeway/entry through the course of the night.
